This remote ramp on the Aransas River was formerly a hot spot for locals wanting to ski and bass fish on the Aransas River. Years ago, the earthen dam washed out and returned the river to is natural state. Now it allows access to the estuary waters as the delta of the river flows into Copano Bay. It is used by anglers to fish the back waters of Copano bay and hunters to access duck blinds. Similar to the Mission River Boat Ramp just to the north, going up river the fishery transitions from salt to fresh and offers black bass and catfish as well!
