The baits and methods of catching redfish are as varied as the anglers pursuing them. From drifting across flats to running down shorelines looking for tailing fish or sitting on potholes and cuts each method is effective in the right situation and is dependent as much on the angler’s preference and abilities as other factors. Artificial, live bait and fresh or frozen dead bait are all useful in attracting redfish.
