Located at the mouth of the Aransas River in the southwest corner of Copano Bay, the Bayside Boat Ramp is a shallow 2 lane ramp with a shell parking area. The ramp area and channel has silted in and is unusable for all but the most shallow flat bottom boats. However, just across the bridge from it is a private single lane ramp that while also very shallow, can launch shallow running bay boats. It may also be challenging at low tide.
